VIDEO PREMIERE: Karen Vogt estrena "I've Been in Motion"

 

En las más recientes semanas he escuchado y leído, que, según algunos científicos, el agua no sólo llegó a la tierra desde el Espacio, sino que es uno de los elementos más antiguos y presentes en el Universo, por lo tanto, también uno de los más importantes.

Por supuesto, todos sabemos que sin ella, la vida en el planeta simplemente no existiría, al menos no como la conocemos. Y quizá el mar, los mares, los océanos, las nubes que se forman con el vapor del agua, sean las imágenes más representativa que los seres humanos tenemos de ella.

Fuente de vida, que, por paradójico que sea, aún no se ha explorado en su totalidad, ha sido también fuente de inspiración desde los primeros días de la humanidad, presente en todos los mitos antiguos, continúa siendo un gran misterio.

Proveedora de calma, paz, tranquilidad, así como capaz de destruir todo a su paso en tan sólo un momento de su furia. Quizá lo único cierto es que siempre está en constante movimiento. Desde los primeros años de escuela aprendemos que ese movimiento se debe a la fuerza de atracción que ejerce sobre ella la gravedad de la Luna, tan sencillo como se escucha, pero complejo y fascinante si nos detenemos a pensar un poco en ello, yo lo encuentro sumamente poético, esa danza sin fin, ese vaivén de cuerpos, masas y emociones.

Claro, no sólo los mares, la Tierra misma es un cuerpo en movimiento, y todo lo que en ella habita, plantas, árboles, animales, el viento, las montañas, nosotros mismos, los humanos.

Es lo que me reflexiono mientras observo el video que acompaña al track "I've been in motion" de Karen Vogt, (artista, música y productora Australiana residente en Francia, de la que ya les he hablado en oportunidades anteriores), y es que las imágenes capturadas por Cédrick Eymenier se acompasan de tal modo con la música de Karen que es imposible no dejarse llevar. El track avanza, se mueve y evoluciona con calma, a su ritmo, tal como las olas del mar y las nubes en el cielo a lo largo del día, se contienen, para finalmente envolverte con profunda emoción. 

"I've been in motion" es parte del nuevo lanzamiento de Karen Vogt llamado I've been waiting for the longest time, disponible a partir de este viernes en la disquera italiana Superpang.

In recent weeks I've heard and read that according to some scientists, water not only came to earth from Space, but that it is one of the oldest and most present elements in the Universe, therefore, also one of the most important.

Of course, we all know that without it, life on the planet simply wouldn't exist, at least not as we know it. And perhaps the seas, the oceans, the clouds that form with steam, are the most representative images that human beings have of it.

Source of life, which, paradoxically, has not yet been fully explored, has also been a source of inspiration since the earliest days of humanity, present in all ancient myths, remains a great mystery.

Provider of calm, peace, tranquility, as well as capable of destroying everything in its path in just a moment of its fury. Perhaps the only certain thing is that it is always in constant motion. From the first years of school we learn that this movement is due to the force of attraction that the Moon's gravity exerts on it, as simple as it sounds, but complex and fascinating if we stop to think about it a little, I find it extremely poetic, that endless dance, that coming and going of bodies, masses and emotions.

Of course, not only the seas, the Earth itself is a body in motion, and everything that inhabits it, plants, trees, animals, the wind, mountains, us humans.

This is what makes me feel and think about the video that accompanies the track "I've Been in Motion" by Karen Vogt, Australian artist, vocalist and musician living in France, and that's that the images captured by Cédrick Eymenier are they fit in such a way with Karen's music that it's impossible not to get carried away. The track advances, moves and evolves calmly, at its own pace, just like the waves of the sea and the clouds in the sky throughout the day, they contain themselves, to finally wrap you with deep emotion.
